The Geriatric Unit is a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health treatment program designed for senior adults. A qualified team of medical professionals including a psychiatrist, dietician, occupational therapist, social workers, and mental health nurses design an individualized treatment plan to meet the needs of each patient.
Our unit is unique in that patients participate with a group of peers who are similar in age and life experiences. Families are also included in the therapeutic process and aftercare planning is provided to maintain gains made in treatment.
