Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center Appoints CEO
Christian Jones has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center, effective February 6.
Jones most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, a 412-bed hospital in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. While there, he led the planning and completion of several capital projects that increased access to ER, ICU, oncology and other services. He also contributed to increasing physician and employee satisfaction scores.
“My family and I look forward to returning to our home state to care for the needs of the Kennett community,” Jones said. “Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center is fortunate to have talented physicians and staff who are committed to quality care, and I am excited for the opportunity to support their work.”
Previously, Jones was CEO of Moberly Regional Medical Center, a 101-bed hospital in Moberly, Missouri, where he helped the hospital achieve high quality care, recruited several new physicians to the community and led the expansion of the cardiology and surgical service lines.
“Chris’ experience and expertise make him the right fit for our hospital,” said Terry Berry, chairman, Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees. “We are confident he will help Twin Rivers build upon our strengths as we continue providing quality healthcare services for our community.”
A Missouri native, Jones began his medical career as an orthopedic technician in the United States Army Reserves. He holds master’s degrees in Business and Health Administration from William Woods University and a Bachelor Degree of Health Science, Radiologic Sciences, from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
