Emergency Services
Emergencies can happen at any time. That’s why it’s important to be prepared and know where to go when you need medical care- fast. The emergency medicine team at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center provides care to patients in Kennett and surrounding areas when they need it most.
Our highly trained staff can provide care for everything from cuts and broken bones to life-threatening conditions such as heart attack or stroke. We provide efficient, prompt and compassionate care, and offer:
- Multi-functional treatment rooms for patients with varied conditions.
- A dynamic ER design focused on providing a better experience for patients and visitors.
- Dedicated health care professionals who are committed to quality care.
- A continued commitment to keep wait times to a minimum.
When you come to the emergency room, you want immediate attention. We work hard to make sure every patient receives quality care in the most timely, comfortable and efficient manner. We believe our patients’ loved ones deserve the same attention to quality care, so we do our best to ensure they are well informed and as comfortable as possible. Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center is dedicated to improving the emergency room experience.
Nuse First
We provide a Nurse First program for all patients upon entering the Emergency Department. When patients arrive, they are directed to the "Nurse First" who is trained in emergency room triage. The nurse then assesses the initial status of each patient upon arrival.
Emergencies are assessed for severity. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, patients are taken to a diagnostic and treatment area and seen by an emergency physician immediately.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1.
